i was wondering if anyone has tried origins modern fusion skin catalyst. I read in this skin magazine it was good for like hyperpigmentation and i have read some reviews that says it works well but i was just wanting to see if it has worked for other people. i was also wondering if like hyperpigmentation was like when you had acne and it left a like a purplish mark and stuff like i know if it turned brown its hyperpigmentation but my spots are like dark purplish color. but if you can answer either question that'll be fine.

  1. I have hyperpigmentation, and since my skin is a very, very light color, it simply means that the melanin production on my nose and upper cheeks sort of went haywire. Scars left from acne are not considered hyperpigmentation.

I'm covered with spots that aren't exactly freckles, more like little brown blotches. My nose is almost completely brown. I also have patches of red and yellow as well. Not pretty.

Hyperpigmentation usually gets worse around your period, or if you're under stress. If you have this condition, it's very important to wear sunscreen at all times.

I have not heard of the product you mentioned, but perhaps I'll give it a try.

The only chemical that's proven to whiten skin discolorations is hydroquinone, which I apply topically to my face daily. It DOES work, but can cause other skin problems.

    Good luck!
