I have tried them, they are ok.  I Like Maggi better but nowadays, I just make my curry from scratch --- that's the best!

For  Japanese style curry, I like them or the sauce in pouches, I used them for tonkatsu or a in a borth for Shabu-Shabu.

They are best with seafood I have found, mussels steamed with them and some sake are great, even a mixed seafood stew with squid, salmon, mussels and some surimi, over rice or with Udon noodles.
