Have you tried bare minerals, and do you recommend it?

I've heard great things about bare essentials and wanted to try it. I wanted to know if the powders give you a cake look? I don't want it to seem like I have too much makeup on. Also where is the cheapest I can buy it? Thanks.

yes i would recomment it.!

i have had tons of powders that look all cakey and nasty and bare minerals are NOT like that.

try target or somthing.

bare minerals did not work for me at all

you should get "everyday minerals"

its way cheaper than bareminerals and in my opinion it works better

it also comes in a huge variety of colors, so you can match your

skin tone pretty well

Bare Escentuals is a great brand and when used correctly, does NOT give that caked look. It is a healthy alternative to the usual heavy makeup most wear. The ingredients are all natural minerals which will not clog pores. Their foundation (Bare Minerals) is superior to any other and a little goes a long way. The brand might seem a little pricey at first glance, but it really lasts a long time and once you try it, you will never go back to regular foundation. All you do is put a little in the lid of the jar, swirl the brush around in the lid, tap off excess and apply in a circular motion around your face. It literally feels like you are not wearing makeup, however, it gives GREAT coverage and lasts all day. It makes your face look almost flawless but compared with the liquid foundations and the old powder types, you feel like you're wearing nothing. It's really strange but true! They have a fantastic selection of colors to choose from. I use the medium tan. Their concealer is fabulous and easy to apply, I totally recommend the bisque concealer along with the foundation, at least to start. Great coverage. Love it! Used it for about 2 years now and no it does not look cakey cuz it is minerals! Just remember a little really goes a long way. I would totally recommend it it improved my skin a lot and i dont look like i wear too much anymore

I got the beginners kit off and infomercial which also comes with a dvd explaining how to do it.  The dvd said to use certain things, but the kit didn't come with it!!  They were just trying to get you to spend more money!!!  I don't recommend buying it because after I put it on I looked the exact same as when I used less expensive stuff!!  I wouldn't recommend it but maybe you'll have better luck!!
