This website says all you have to do is drink this tea. The diet and exercise part includes just walking a few times a week and drinking plenty of water and not eating after a certain time of day. Seems easy enough.. Have you actually tried this tea? Is it any good? Is it really that simple? And have you gotten any results? I think I'm going to give it a try. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks!

  1. I'll tell you what, you send me 99.99 and you get my special blend of fat loss green tea (which of course I bought at the local supermarket for $6). :-)

Seriously, you can drink ANY TEA for weeks, have minimal exercise (walking), but watch your diet, and you will lose weight. I have done this with my clients. It works. And it's not the tea. But I will tell you what green tea does do - it does help in thermogenesis.

Green tea contains compounds called EGCGs, amongst others. The EGCGs in particular have been shown in numerous studies to have a thermogenic (fat burning) effect in fat cells. Now, the effect of a single serving may not be much, but it adds up over the months and years and when you're interested in weight loss, any edge you can get is good.

Green tea is potently anti-oxidant. It can also kick cancer's *** (more research being done on this right now). Personally, I drink 2 litres of green tea each day, which is made from 4 regular sachets of Japanese green tea (any brand will do).

Do it. Your body will thank you for it.

  2. This isnt new.  Tea wont help you lose weight.  It is healthy, delicious, and has a little caffeine, but wont make much difference.

Walking, clearly will help you lose weight.  But im sure you knew that already without having to ask the sage of wu-yi mountain.

Not eating as much at night is a good diet plan, because when you go to sleep you cant burn off what you eat.  I have heard this to be effective for dieters.

So uh, eat nutritious, low fat, whole foods and lean meats in reasonable proportions, exercise and dont overdo it before bed.  Easy right?   (pats his jiggly tummy)

  3. Sounds more like the ol' "I get rich by scamming you" diet.

The only diet that will work is a fundamental and permanent change to your eating habits or exercise routine.
