I always said I'd NEVER EVER become I bridezilla but I have to admit that I have found my inner bridezilla. So have you found your inner bridezilla? And what has been the most difficult part of the planning stages for you?

  1. I haven't reached my inner bridezilla yet.  That will likely change when we make our final decision where we will be having our ceremony-reception. Deadline is August 31 as I have to book on Sept. 1 or lose our space.

I will add that I don't really see myself becoming a bridezilla because I have no attendants to worry about.  The only complications I see are guest attendance (my Dad has had a lot of illness in the last year), so our decisions have sort of hovered about what he will be able to do come December.

  2. I had just 16 days to organise my wedding, from the day the date was fixed, and I did everything myself. It was a very small affair, but still there were moments of great stress, like misunderstandings with the florist and mix-ups with the gown, but everything turned out fine, and the misunderstood bits were in fact better than my original plan.

  3. I don't want to be bridezilla but I feel I had been forced to on a few things:

~ my mom & sister don't like my choice of flowers.  I told them "I like them and when you pay a grand for the flowers you want, I'll carry those down the aisle for you".

~ my bridesmaids dresses.  ugh!  Since I had only decided on color, I was going to leave the dress choices up to them.  1 refused to wear satin, 1 refused to wear floor lenght while the other 3 only wanted to wear floor length, and the aggravation kept on coming.  I decided to trim the budget elsewhere and tell them that I would choose - and buy - their dresses for them and thats the end of the discussion.  My fiance & I decided on floor length chiffon and we will be ordering come January.

  4. I've been in so many weddings where I experienced bridezillas.  I am determined not to be that.  So far, I think I've done pretty well.  I want to enjoy everything and I want my bridesmaids to enjoy it as well.
