Has anyone used Robeez shoes for there children? Was your child walking? Are they good shoes for beginner walkers? Do you know if they are good for babies with high insteps?

My daughter is 13 months old and has started walking and I need shoes for her for when we go out and she doesn't want to be in her stroller or carried.

  1. all I have to say is that I second Ruby's mom exactly!!  I have pedipeds (love them...totally cute) and stride rites for Hannah.  I haven't tried "see kai run", but they will be my next pair to try...thanks Ruby's mom!!

Check amazon.com for stride rites.  A lot of times they have the same ones as the stores have for much cheaper!!

  2. robeez are awesome: ruby always wore them until she became a good walker. they always stay on, they're cute, and they don't mess with the natural action of the foot. the problem i have with them now is that they are so light and so without structure that they don't last now that sh eis walking. the break down very quickly. i am super conscious about being good to her feet/ankles etc as they develop. "see kai run" shoes are AWESOME, but they are too wide/big for ruby. try them though, they are fantastic. ruby currently wears stride rite shoes. they are the only ones i have found that are good to/for her feet and small enough (at 14.5 months she is still a size 3, and her feet are very narrow). instep isn't an issue for us, but any of the very well made shoes will be fine for that -- the kais or the stride rites. both are available online (google the name) and at norsdstrom, where i have bought them. oh! wait! i forgot: the other amazing ones are pediped: they are AWESOME. also available online and at nordstrom. all 3 brands i have suggested are dr. approved to be safe for developing feet.
