Question:

Have you used "Moss Killer"?

I've got an invasion of lawn moss on the surface of my asparagus bed. Very aggressive.

I bought some "Moss Killer" ...."-guaranteed to work in 3 hours" . Well, -it did, and the moss was all shrivelled and brown the same day. BUT!!.................

This week (7 days later) it's back and bigger!! Greener, bushier, healthier... It obviously thrives on 'Moss Killer ' !...

Has anyone any ideas on a chemical that will actually KILL my moss, without killing everything round it including my asparagus? Please?. It's too big and too strong to dig, incidentallyt

Thanks in anticipation.

  1. Yes - but the cocaine sniffing moo is still alive !

  2. Ferrous Sulfate is used to kill moss which is probably the active ingredient in moss killer.  When you apply the moss killer make sure you get it all it could have grown back from a small spot that you missed.

  3. Kate Moss is shriveled and brown in your garden?

Holey Moley you should take pictures and sell them to magazines! They'd pay loads.
