Have you used the Clean & Clear acne kit, or Proactiv?

Frankly, neither of these products are great. In fact, when it comes to Proactiv, it offers nothing different to all the other standard Acne treatments. They just market themselves better and more extensively.

If you have normal-to-oily skin and acne, the absolutely best and most effective treatment is put out by a company called Volcanic Earth. The specific treatment uses an all natural product called Honey & Pumice Exfoliant. It is Acne's enemy as it is deadly effective ont Acne because of the extraordinary drawing power of the volcanic pumice.

Part of their treatment includes applying their Facial Moisturizer With Tamanu Oil. Now, normally speaking, you wouldn't use a moisturizer on oily skin. However, after exfoliating with their Honey & Pumice, a good moisturizer is essential to replace lost moisture (the pumice sucks everything out!). Well, I used to have really bad acne and oily skin, so I tried lots of things.  Proactiv was terrible- it did absolutely nothing for me; it actually may have made it worse.  Clean and Clear worked for me, but it wasn't outstanding or anything.

But what works really well for me is a Neutrogena product called "Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask".

i used the knock off of the proactive it made my face red (i should of not been so cheap i guess) so definitely not the knock off.. good luck be-careful

I have used Clean & Clear products before. Not the acne kit though. My thought about Clean & Clear is that it's not that great. I bought the Morning Glow face wash and face moisturizer. The face wash is ok but the moisturizer leaves a residue feeling on your face. Proactive is not as great as it looks. I think that just using a bar of soap is better than using Proactive. What I think is really great though is Fresh Foaming Cleanser Face Wash by Neutrogena.

proactiv. i spent $50 for it but it has lasted over a year. 100% worth it

I usually use Neutrogena, which works very well.

But I've heard that Proactiv works great from everyone I've known.

clean and clear didn't do much for me, but i found the proactiv works really good, unless you have really sensitive skin, then it just may make it irritated and red..

I use the Proactiv System, and that works really well, and it leaves my skin soft and clear, not oily. I would definitely reccomend it.

I'm not bragging but I have good skin and don't need to use those products, but my sister used proactive and it didn't work for her

i have used both. in my opinion proactiv is the better one. but skin id by neutrogena is better than both in my opinion.

Proactiv sucks!! >_< it really irritated and dried my skin and made it worse, i don't know bout Clean & Clear so i suggest seeing a dermatolagist.
