I've never used a "knifty knitter".... and I'm thinking about making some newborn hats but I don't want to buy a hoop that's too big. Any experts on here? :o) Thanks!

  1. I have made the baby hat but cannot remember the loom size.  Try this site look under patterns and instructions.

    Hope this helps.

  2. i know how to traditionally knit and when I got the knifty knitter as a present one x-mas I was doubtful about its abilities. It took five hours to just get halfway done with the hat I was making for myself.  It only takes 3 for me to knit a hat on circular knitting needles.

  3. Use the smallest one (I believe it is the blue one) I love it. I really don't know how to knit, (mom does) but it works well. It doesn't take a long time to figure it out and I love that you don't have to take a million years to make a hat. Especially if it is for new borns.  You will love it!!!!

  4. The Blue hoop would work well. I have used the Knifty Knitter and it's Very easy. I can make a 6 foot scarf in 6 hours ;)))
