It is best to deal with online shops who will ship directly to you.

Don't trust it until you know absolutely it is OK.  Do not use a debit card.  With a credit card you have more protection, but with international aspects, I'd still be very leary.

Why not just buy what you want direct from the supplier?  Cut out the middle-man.
