  1. Czech Republic especially Prague - a beautiful city. Been to Amsterdam Holland YUCK!

  2. Last October, I went to Ottawa and Montreal (Canada).  I really enjoyed that.

  3. yeah Peru in South America it was really nice beautiful beaches and alot of little stores that sold really cool artifacts

  4. I live in Australia, and in 2003 I was lucky to be able to travel to the UK and Holland.

Along the way I got to stop at Singapore (interesting) and France (awful, I'll never go back).

Most of my time in the UK was spent in Scotland with a friend. I LOVED it. Edinburgh is an amazing city, full of gorgeous old buildings and absolutely steeped in history. The Scottish countryside is to die for... all rugged hills and valleys, and I couldn't believe how green grass could get until I visited Scotland :-)

I spent a week in Holland during the same trip, again staying with a friend. My experiences there were also very positive - amazing people, architecture - and coming from a dry country, so much water! Holland was as flat as Scotland was hilly, but it was equally stunning in its own way.

I was sorry to read that Katydid thought Amsterdam was "Yuck". I thought it was spectacular, an amazing, vibrant place. The buildings there are awesome. A trip along the canals in Amsterdam is a must. :-)

    Next overseas trip - USA!
