This is in my honest opinion...Some people are just too miserable to enjoy London's performace. London is all about having fun and enjoying yourself. If some people cant accept that then that's their problem...

I for one LOVED London's performance so thats what I though and if you disagree thats fine with me. But what I think that it was all about fun...just fun.

Told you. The Doctor should have landed there with his TARDIS in the middle of the show and do something with his laser screwdriver. But then he probably was preparing for Christmas battle with the daleks... :D

When compared to the richness of authentic culture such as the Chinese exhibited ~  the Westernized pop culture being displayed came off as cheap and shallow.

The Brits have a rich history of their own. They should treat the world to that during the next olympics.

The main attraction was supposedly to be David Beckham and the iconic bus. I think the entire performance was very lame and seems a very last minute preparation thing. I thought Beckham could have kicked a few more soccerballs into the crowd around the stadium, get the bus moving. Or say something like "See you in London 2012!" to hype up the handover.... it's not impressive... London don't seem to be very enthusiastic about the hosting.

It was c**p..and i can't believe they asked Leona Lewis to represent UK..its a disgrace considering there're so many more deserving and famous singing icons of UK than Leona Lewis!! And what,Beckham making an appearance just to kick a dumba** ball? He might as well not appear! The whole thing was cheesy,gave the feeling of a theatrical west end production,like they just took a bus and tried to make it "modern and cool" but failed miserably. Credit for their effort to invite Jimmy Page but that alone ain't saving UK's a**!

It was frankly embarrassing. I mean, David Beckham??? And Leona Lewis trying to sing A Whole Lotta Love rock song?

I'm hoping the reason they were there was because more deserving celebrities refused to represent in order to protest the human rights issue (I wish).

i didnt really like it cus its ALL about london, even though the games are there 2012 they should have done stuff about scotland, ireland and wales
