I once saw someone from San Francisco-- and THOUGHT they were from another planet! Does this count?

Yes, I saw a ufo several years ago. I was in the company of two people who had always pooh-pooed the idea of their existence, until they saw it with me one night. They now believe in them. It was on a perfectly clear, still Summer's night and it hovered a few feet over our heads for several minutes. We were in our car and got out to look at it together. It had lights all around the edges and was very large and cone shaped. There was absolutely no noise coming from it. It was extremely large. We weren't frightened and in fact wanted to investigate further when it just suddenly disappeared into a pin prick of light, which then totally vanished. I have never forgotten exactly what it looked like and the impression it gave us. No one will ever convince me it was something else. I know quite a few people who have seen Ufos.

Lights in the sky, many residents seen it and it ended up in the paper.  There was never an explanation what it was.

Yes I have genuinely seen a unidentified flying object / craft, I even had the opportunity to take some very clear photos. I don't believe mine was extra terrestrial and not publishing photos link (or my experience) cause the answer never gets picked

Well i was testing my first home made moonshine still in the woodshed and i seen a light up in the sky at first i thought it was the pigs (police) helicopter so i turned the lantern down and grabbed my .22 Lr and took the pressure cooker off the fire and went outside and hid in the bushes until i seen the light go over the hillside, so i grabbed a handful of shells and took a look to see what it was, that's when i seen them.

Lol just kidding there was no aliens or U.F.O. but the part about the home made moonshine still was true, i ended up setting my woodshed on fire and i resorted to buying a professional made one from the internet.
