I'm an American and have been to Europe several times and love it. I want to know if anybody here, American, Aussie, Kiwi, etc. has gone to Europe, lived and worked there without any legal paperwork ?

What kind of job would i be able to get there without a visa and how would i find accomodation ?

Any extra, detailed info from somebody who has done this would be much appreciated.

  1. Like illegal workers anywhere you are likely to get a job that no one else in that country is willing to do. The pay is also likely not to be very good.

It certainly does happen, there are a lot of illegal workers all through Europe. In terms of Aussies, Kiwis and Americans I have seen quite a few of them working in bars and clubs in Greece and Turkey.

  2. my husband is Aussie, and use to work in London without visa for a long time in IT. Obviously, he had to lie in interwiew( Do you have a visa?   Yes sure!) and sometimes they just didn t ask for the papers, but some other times he been in difficult situation...

Accomodation is no problem to find with or without a visa, but keep in mind that it can be difficult sometimes...
