Have your parents ever apologized to you?

My mother has apologized to me before and it was about three years after the fact. My little brother and I had a Power Wheel truck that did not work. We had took the motor out of it we would take turnes pushing each other up with big hill that we lived at the bottum of. ( it was also on a very busy road ) My mother had my dad take the truck and get rid of it one night and she told my little bother and I that someone walked up to our house in the middle of the nightand took it. She did not tell me that she got rid of it untill about two and a half years ago.

Nope, and for that reason I've never apologized to them.

I don't care if I'm the 'child', if they aren't going to show me respect I won't show them any either.

My father has apologized to me time and time again for making my childhood pretty terrible.  My mom walked out on my family when myself (I was the oldest) and my 2 younger brothers when we were young.  My Dad worked a lot, so, the responsibility of raising the boys' pretty much fell upon me.  I don't regret what happened because being their for my brother's has made me the person I am today.  But..it was a rough childhood.  My parents then spent years in court fighting over material things, never once was there a fight over anything other than materialistic things (not even us).  Since I was the oldest and the only girl, my Dad made my life pretty bad by not allowing me to do most things that teenagers do.  My Dad is finally at the point where he is over the things my Mom did to him and I'm 26 now, he's apologized so many times for not giving me the life I deserved to have.  However, my mother has never apologized to me (and she's done much worse) or my brothers and I don't think she ever will.  

I'm not sure why you are asking about apologies from parents, but, if it's an apology you're looking for from them, I really hope you get it.  Take care.

my parents apologise when they have actually done something wrong. I think thats good as when is was growing up it encourages me to admit and apologise for things ive done wrong.

My parents have apologized to me many times for things that they have said or done and I have also apologized to them.  It's common sense to apologize for hurting someone's feelings.

probably beacuse they thought you thought you werent being loved. no matter what the reson they apologize for, just accept it and hug them. im talking with experience(:

Very rare...Respect Thy Father and Thy Mother...Most of the time, I was at fault...for the times it was not...they could not tell...It does not really matter. Don't be looking for an apology from your parents...They love you unconditionally which means if you were some kind of criminal they would still...Stop looking for an apology...Take Care

i usually get blamed for no reason at times..wen my parents come to knoe it was not my fault they at times do apologize..most parents are daring at this point! :D
