Have zhone router works ok on my computer

Question

I can't get the linksys adapter to connect from the other computer. It keeps saying something is wrong with the router.my Internet help desk and linksys help desk both say zhone router and the adapter is ok.also my neighbor get on using my Internet. How do I get security
