The past few days I haven't really felt any kicks or anything from my little one. If I have felt something its been very light, and I just haven't noticed. Should I call my doctor? Or wait and see how she does today? I have been really exhausted lately, and I haven't gotten much sleep in the past few days... could that be effecting her?

I am 24 weeks tomorrow.

  1. I think i just answered your other question. Some people don't feel babies first moves until about 26 weeks but for peace of mind you could maybe pop down to your midwife anyway. Insomnia is quite common through pregnancy. It won't do your baby any harm but you obviously won't be feeling that great. Make sure you eat and drink regularly. I have found it very hard to sleep at night throughout all my pregnancies so i sympathize with you completely. Hope you get a sleep soon x

  2. its probably nothing to worry about as babies do have slow days, but i would give your doctor a call to voice your concerns and see what he as to say, better to be safe than sorry

  3. i would go phone the hospital just in case, the same thing happened to me and they just check you over-listen to the heartbeat, maybe a scan etc but at 24 you should at least tell someone as it could be an underlying problem but would probably just be your baby is a sleepy one!!!! mine was and still is today so good luck!

  4. drink something sweet ( such as orange juice) and have a snack, then lay down and try to count fetal movement for 60 minutes or so. If you still do not feel any movement call your doctor and see what she/he has to say. my daughter did not move well for several days at 20 weeks. i freaked and called the doctor. she had me go to the hospital and get monitored and she did a non-stress test and all kinds of stuff. it turns out that she was turned backwards and I did not recognize that she was kicking my backbone. she is 8 years old now. My youngest son spent a little time kicking my tailbone too...it felt like gas bubbles popping in the general area of my tailbone

  5. Most likely, everything is just fine and is just sleeping away. My son barely moved throughout my entire pregnancy. At 24 weeks though, I wouldn't be taking any chances. You should be feeling something at least every few hours. It can't hurt to give your doctor a call and see what she has to say.

  6. same as my daughter she didnt move hardly at all but if u are still not sure just get a check up but i am sure everything is fine girls are lazy hahaha but good luck xxxxxxxxxx
