If he spoke out against the Iraqi occupation or the lies surrounding 9/11, he just might be.

American citizens can be held without benefit of habeas corpus. In other words, Americans and citizens of other nationalities who are falsely accused, may be detained indefinitely without any notification to anyone.

The list of so-called "detainees" (translation: prisoners), is not released and people simply disappear. Torture and death just happen.

The US has lower standards than a third-world tyrant/terrorist state.
