Haven't received my stimulus check?

First let me clarify a few thing:

I DID make more than the $3,000 it takes to qualify to receive a check in 2007.

I DO NOT make more than it takes to qualify to receive a check in 2007.

I DID NOT file with turbo tax or rapid refund, etc.

I DID receive my 2007 return by direct deposit. It was filed by a certified CPA.

I DID file my 2007 tax return before the April 15 cut off (did it in February).

I DID reference the last two digits of my SSN with the date provided on the IRS website.

I DID put my info into the irs website. No info was found.

I should have received my rebate check May 16 and have yet to see it. My mother and a host of friends have not received theirs either. I received the letter stating the government had approved the stimulus package but DID NOT receive the second letter telling me the amount and when to expect the check (most people who have already received their checks rcv'd a second letter).

  1. https://sa1.www4.irs.gov/irfof/IRServlet...

Click here and it'll tell you the status of your rebate check.

  2. try calling the IRS here is the number I got off the IRS website.

    1-800-829-0582

  3. As long as you were not claimed as a dependent on someone else's return, you should get the rebate check.

Otherwise, be patient.  You will get your money when you get it.  Never count on money from the government until you actually have a check in your hand or the funds are actually in your account.
