  1. Chris Gratton and Robby Zamuner where my idols.

    Chicken egg salad:P

  2. Eddie Shack.

Bonus. The chicken salad by 0.74 seconds. I think the waiter was just trying to impress my wife and set her's down fist. So I try to impress her too by saving $2.00 on his tip. How come he gets THE smile and all I get is a bruised shinbone?

Life's like that , doncha know.

  3. Sidney Crosby!!!!!!!!

  4. Brad Richards

Egg Salad (I'm still in memorial day mode)

  5. Curtis Joseph (Cujo)

The egg salad came first, but it was only by a few weeks.

  6. Joe Sakic is my hockey hero. Makes sense, you coulda guessed by my name or picture.

Bonus: The cesaer salad easily came first, but the egg salad was a close second. The chicken salad didn't stand a chance on the market.

  7. Mike modano-he's a great player and role model + he's stayed with the same team almost 20 years.

  9. Steve Yzerman

    Actually it was amoeba soup.

  10. It will always be Mario Lemieux.

I'm gonna go with egg salad only because I prefer it over chicken salad.

  11. Ryan Malone. He's just talented, dude.. simply amazing. But you can't forget about Mario.

& neither. SALAD simply came first! =P duhh.

  19. hockey hero: bam bam cam neely  captain badass

chicken salad and egg salad: same time????????

  20. My favorite is Brian Gionta. I really respect his hard work, persistence, and dedication. In college, his coach told him that he better get an education because he wasn't going to make it in hockey because of his size. And you know what, he made it to the NHL!

In the 2005-2006 season he broke the Devils' record (previously held by Pat Verbeek for most goals scored on the team) with 48 goals. Gionta also played all 82 games, and he never takes a night off. Every game, he gets beat up because everyone else picks on him because of his size, but he doesn't take c**p from anyone. (Haha, he even started shoving Zdeno Chara!)

So I respect the hard work he put into hockey to make it to the NHL, despite what everyone told him, and the fact that he can stick up for himself and doesn't take anything from anyone. Gionta even sticks up for his bigger, tougher teammates, even though he's the smallest player in the NHL. Not only that, but he's a pretty d**n good player too.

    Egg Salad.

  21. Patrick Roy

The salad actually came first then the chicken laid the first egg so the answer is C). To get to the other side.

  22. Currently . Nik Lidstrom.

    Chicken salad of course.

  23. My hockey hero would have to be Mats Sundin.

C'mon can't we have tofu salads? (I'm a vegetarian). Okay, I'm gonna say the egg salad came first.

  24. sorry for all the edits .. this was a really tough question(s) for me to answer

among those whom I've not seen at the arena (but yes on tv): either Patrick Roy or Mario Lemieux .. really too hard to pick just one

among friends who have played in the nhl: Everett Sanipass

Chicken salad, Chris Chelios was the first egg born to the Mother Hen in 1962 B.C.

  25. Saku Koivu. As cancer has effected my own family, I find his story particularly encouraging. Not only was he able to win his own battle, but he gave others the tools, both inspirationally and financially, to win theirs as well. Definite hero in my book.
