Haven't talked to friend in a while...?

Question

a really good friend of mine moved to another state, and i got a myspace so we could keep in touch,(i hate myspace) and i'm always the one to email her, and last time i did, she didn't respond, its been forever since shes talked to me and her birthday is coming up, so should i still get her a present?

i mean, we're not fighting or anything, but it pisses me off that i got the myspace for her, and she hardly ever emails me, ya know?

I hate to tell you this. . .but. . . . .SOMETIMES. . . . "silence" IS an answer.  Silence can sometimes just mean they DON'T want a relationship any more.  Sorry !!!  I don't mean to hurt your feelings. . .but it IS, at times, the coward's way out of a relationship or friendship.  I think the other person SHOULD say something if they don't want a friendship/relationship any more. . . .but if it's ALWAYS you making "the effort". . . .it's best to MOVE ON.

And. . . .no!   I wouldn't do ANYTHING for their birthday.  If by chance they DO contact you in the furutre. . . .I'd be honest about WHY you pulled back.  They SHOULD understand that !!!!   I WOULD !!!!

personally,that would also p**s me off..but she may have her own reasons why she can't keep in touch..giving her a gift for her birthday may get her to realize that you care for her as your friend..

I would. If I was as smart as you I would of done the same thing. I just said Happy Birthday to my friend.

You probably should...something might be up and she could not get back to you. Don't ruin a good friendship because she isn't keeping it touch try to get her phone number or keep trying to contact her. She might get back to you ....there's a great chance
