  1. Hagesting Castle in Northumberland

  2. We went to devon cliffs excellent place for the kids loads to do aswell for the adults, but try and book through newhols.com as well chepa compare to haven prices

  3. I went last year to Scotland when I was 11.. nothing for my age....not that exciting!!

But Wales and England are really good!!

you're kids are the perfect age for these ones!!!

    Hope this helped!

  4. Haven sites don't have a good reputation generally.

We took our Grandchildren on one 2 years ago. We paid £900 for a shabby caravan, the cleanliness was dire, the staff were uncaring, the site was noisy and packed, the bedding was worn and holy, pool was filthy, the toilets were disgustingly filthy, and we were burgled due to lack of security. It turned out to be the holiday from h**l.

This year, we took them to a gorgeous little site we found near Porlock Weir, (not far from Minehead ) It was peaceful, clean, friendly, safe, and we had a fantastic holiday, all for less than £300. With the money we saved, we were able to take them on some really nice days out, including 2 days at Butlins, on day passes, and pony rides on site. The kids absolutely loved it!!!

We have just come back, and have already booked a BIG family holiday for all of our kids, and Grandchildren (8) next year, and even during July, a caravan costs less than Half what Haven charge. I wouldn't touch Haven again with someone else's barge pole!!!

If you google Haven "watchdog" reviews, you will see what others say about Haven sites, (not very good) I would seriously consider giving your money to a smaller family run business, and forget the "rip off" Haven giants.

  5. The best one I've been to with kids 10&7 was Craig Tara in Ayr, Scotland. Wasn't too impressed with Seton Sands at Edinburgh. I've only been to ones in Scotland

  6. I didn't like the Haven park that I visited a few years ago, it was Prestatyn in Wales, the pool was always full, there seemed to be no restrictions on how many people were in it at a time. the staff couldn't be bothered even when I had to call an ambulance for another guest.

  7. If your looking for a nice park in the summer try the east coast or west country, Haven has plenty of choice around these areas. Alot of people seem to say Haven is expensive but looking at their late deals the prices are around £150 wait until its closer to your holiday date and book through the late deals for a great deal.

  8. A friend of mine has just returned from a Haven hol. (Devon Cliffs).

She has children of a similar age to yours, and they had a great time. Seemingly there is something organised for children of varying ages on a daily basis, 7 days a week.

She is on a budget, and found it great value for mone.

    Have a good holiday.
