Haven Holidays?????

Question

I have just returned from a 3 night stay at one of the Haven Holiday Parks in Maplethorpe, Lincolnshire,

whilst there i found the accomodation was great but the staff on the park really unhelpfull and and the the clenliness of the the services were unacceptable, my brother was even called a "honky" by one of the security guards,

has anyone else experienced this or was i just extreemly unlucky?

i've stayed at the haven in pwhelli Wales and it was really unclean. The staff didnt clean tables or pick up any mess left behind, and most of the staff couldnt understand English when I asked for a cloth to wipe our table with.

If i was you i would write to haven hq and kick up a STINK.

With so many people going abroad for hols they will  not like this situation at all.

Tell them the bits you liked but because of the way you were treated etc, you will not be going back again.

I have a funny feelling  you will get a very fast responce.

Me and my other half went there a few months back and had no problems whatsoever! was it the golden sands resort you went to? i heard nothing about the services, fair do it was a little outdated, but if the security said something like that i would make a complaint..

Maybe you were just a little unlucky.

I used to go to Butlins in Ayr every year when I was a wee lassie. I had many magical memories of the place. Recently I took a return trip, it's now owned by Haven, and I was so dissappointed in the cleanliness. The curtains and bedding in our chalet were grubby and smelly, the park itself was fairly well littered and the staff were really unhelpful. It certainly will be the last time I'll be going there!!!!

Try speaking with their customer care team or chalk it down to bad luck or perhaps a misunderstanding.

We went to a haven park in Scotland on a half board basis

It was terrible!!!! the food  was bad to the least.Our chalet was dirty damp and the shower was an old cupboard.Someone had dropped a tin of paint on the carpet the beds were falling to bits arghh cant think about it anymore.We went as a group and had three chalets which were all in this condition we left after three nights

i stayed in a haven park years ago, never again! caravan holidays are pretty boring unless u are going to go sight seeing. i prefer going abroad!
