Haven - Perran Sands..Any good?

Hi. I have booked for Perran Sands (Haven) in Penzance in August, but Ive read a lot of reviews saying its not great. We are going in a motorhome and a tent..is it a waste of our money?

Whilst I can't vouch for the Perran Sands park (we don't need the gaming machines etc), the area is beautiful and you shouldn't pass up the location.  We stay in another local Perranporth site (Liskey park) every Easter.  If you enjoy long walks along the beach and cliffs, surfing, kite flying, rock pools then you will be sorted.  We park at Perran Sands to go down to the dunes (watch out for the occasional snake!). St Agnes nearby has a great gastropub food. Don't worry - you don't have to drive as far as Penzance which is another 40 mins further west.
