Havent pooped in a week from prednisone

Question

i just took 3 dulcolax

im on 40 mg of prednisone for poison oak

im on 4 benadryl as well

when will i poo ?

I'm a little concerned that you have been given bad advice by Panda.  I mean no offense, just concerned.  I'm not a doctor but I do know that fiber is for firming up loose stool.  This is definately not your prolbem.  You really should call your doctor or pharmacist about all those meds you're mixing up.  If they are not causing any adverse affect other than constipation, he'll probably tell you to use any over the counter laxative.  That'll get the river flowing.

I'm back after a short time.  I think I gave you good advice except for that fiber thing.  It's got me confused and I'm not so sure of myself anymore.  I won't delete my answer because I hope that some one else will correct me if I'm wrong and Panda is right.

try eating oatmeal or a high fiber cereal. it you can get alot of fiber in your system for a couple days it should get you back on track. also drink a lot of water to aid the fiber.
