  1. For drinks, mix seltzer with a small splash of cranberry juice and put a wedge of pineapple in for a tropical look! good luck! :D

  2. For games you can do the limbo.  You can also have everyone do the hula.  You can play pass the coconut, which would be like hot potato, but instead you're using a coconut.  You can have a conga line and have everyone dance along the conga line, make sure to have music too.

Go to orientaltrading.com and check out their site, they have TONS of decorations and grass skirts and things that you can get for a luau at great prices!  You can even get grass skirts and tiki huts really cheap!

For drinks, it depends on the age of your guests, you can serve virgin pina coladas, pineapple juice, Hawaiin punch, and different juices.

For food, I would do a regular bbq, hamburgers and hot dogs.  I know they normally do like a pig roast, and there are people you can hire to come in and do that for, but I'm not sure you want to do that, and I'm not sure what else is served.

You can do an search on the web and type in luau food and find out what's normally served at a luau and take it from there.  Then decide if you want to serve traditional luau fare, or regular bbq food.

This is all I can think of.  I hope it helps and that you have a great party.  I would definitely check out orientaltrading.com, their prices are great and they have TONS of stuff!

  3. Get frozen fruit punch, pinapple juice in the can, if you're over 21 and everyone at your party is, get malibu rum coconut flavor, mix and add. If you have a barbeque, get skewers, buy maraschino cherries, pinapple pieces, teriyaki sauce, beef and chicken b*****s, an onion, a couple bell peppers, mushrooms, and other veggies you like. Cut up the meat and skewers, and put them aside in the fridge on a baking dish till you're ready to use them. Get some various chicken pieces and cover them in a mix of honey barbeque and the teriyaki sauce. Have white rice prepared. If pineapple is in season, cut a bunch up and use them in your drink, decoration, etc. For dessert you can get a mixture of coconut milk, shaved coconut, put some pineapple, marachino cherries, grapes, and if you can find it, sweet tofu or tapioca beads (remember to cook these!). Get some fake flower leis and paper lanters from the craft store, some tiki torches from the hardware store, go to a used music store, buy some elvis hits, and you've got yourself a luau.

  4. You can do any game sit doesn't have to go with the theme. Then for food  have I know a whole website full of recipes. Here is the link for it  http://buzz.prevention.com/show/. For drinks you should have something like fruity drink. Also some types of soda, so if people wanted to mix drinks.

  5. Do the limbo.

Serve lots of fruit and fruity drinks-pina coladas, rum runners

    Play Hawaiian or Polynesian music

There are tons of decorations at party stores.

  6. barbiqued pinapple
