Having a baby shower in LA in Dec, any suggestions for a nice inexpensive venue for a group of 50?

would love for it to be outside, but because the weather can be tricky that time of the year, are there any affordable indoor venues I should consider?

The Chevron station off Melrose and La Brea closes every night at 9; their parking lot is pretty big, it's lit and I'm sure no one would notice a group of 50 at that time of night in that part of West Hollywood.  Just remember to bring your own barbeque's and briquettes!

maybe a elks lodge or a clubs meeting place or a room in a small restaurant that works for me.. so good luck and many are inexpensive
