Question:

Having a boy! Wondering what to expect?

I just had my 20 week check up and found out that I am having a boy (he's got the bone structure, the package and the equipment). I have a girl already, so of course we are all excited and happy at this news! I was just curious for those who have boys, I have heard they are very different from girls in a lot of ways (of course the organs are different, more active, sometimes more clingy, have a tendancy to try and rule the roost so to speak), what are your experiences with boys in pregnancy, babyhood and toddlerhood? If you have girls, do you notice a lot of differences?

  1. Baby hood so far.. (8 1/2mo) he is a worm! Wiggles, bounces, whines, doesn't like to cuddle much, wants to get his fingers on EVERYTHING. If I told my niece no, she'd stop.. but Noah.. he is on everything! He loves to be tossed in the air and have us hold him and chase the dogs.. All around, they are just rough and tumble little things, that love to get held and kissed on when hurt.. not unlike their fathers. :) Have fun!!

Oh-- and my sister got me a book all about raising boys, I don't remember the title exactly, but you could look on amazon.com!

  2. I have two boys and my sister has two girls ... i don't think they are that much different expect, girls like dolls and boys like trucks!  lol

I think every child goes through being clingy etc.

    Good luck with your pregnancy
