  1. You could live OK on £25,000 but London is expensive so you wouldn't have much money for enjoying yourself.

  2. Depends where in London you live mainly, there is a massive difference in prices e.g in Chelsea area that would literally you a brick!!  Find out where the job is and see how much property is (buy/rent) then find out how well connected public transport is in the area.

  3. It depends partly on the work you will be expected to do and your age.  If you are a qualified accountant, doctor, architect or lawyer, then it is not good pay.  If you are driving a taxi, doing hairdressing, acting as a guide or working in the rag trade, then it is very good.  Average adult earnings in London is around 24,500 pounds per year and that includes all employment and ages.  People under 21 years of age average at about 16,800 pounds and those over 40 years average at 31,300 pounds.

To live in London comfortably, you'll need 1500 pounds per month for essentials - housing, food and travel.  After that it is nice to have about 500 pounds per month for clothes, entertainment and so on.  That adds up to 24,000 pounds per year.  You should be OK unless you have expensive tastes but be careful WHERE you live.

  4. For London you could buy a tent and find a piece of grass with that sort of cash.Probably below average for London pay.

  5. Depends on the job you are to be doing but whether pounds or Euros this isn't very much at all for living in London. You would need a minimum of £30000 for London to have a home and live decently.

  6. You aren't going to be starving in the street or anything, but you won't save anything. You certainly won't be able to buy a house/flat, but you should be able to rent a room somewhere not too drug ridden or violent. If you are prepared to live an hour or so comute outside of London, your accomodation options will open up considerably.

It is not a lot of money for London, but if you are young, don't have a lot of bills, and can put up with a bit of c**p you will be fine.

  7. I think you mean Pounds because that is what they use in England.
