Having a poker party. What should I play on my I Pod?

It will be a party for 20+ men with ages ranging from 30-50. What 6 CD's would you recommend to download on my I pod so shuffle during the party. I don't want just one type of music, but don't think I should use anything too new...What do you recommend?

You want stuff that everybody will enjoy but is really just background music.  For this age group that means classic rock, but you can mix it up some with some country.  I'd go with:

AC/DC: Back in Black

Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon

Led Zeppelin: III

Highwaymen: The Highwaymen

Dave Matthews Band: Crash

Steve Miller Band: Greatest Hits

Alternates:

Red Hot Chili Peppers: Blood Sugar s*x Magic

Johnny Cash: Ring of Fire

Kansas, Boston, or Journey

Just google a variety of music mostly classic rock to alterantive no rap, they wont enjoy that. when you go to goole just search alterative music and classic rock it will come up with many diffrent lists.

I play daily and use my ipod. I stick to Dave Matthews band Counting Crows. I have 2 poker playlists. 1 is mellow for when I get a little steamed and the other is agressive jam songs for when Im active. It may sound silly but the music helps me play better and keeps me distracted when its

boring or if there are annoying people at the table.
