Hey,

I'm 18 years old and have never had s*x before but have had sexual experience. I havent had any for a good three months though. Randomly, I have been experiencing A LOT of itching in the v****a area. It is really bad and i scratched it and a part started bleeding. I kinda freaked out and just keep watering it with warm water to keep the itching down. What do I do? Any thoughts on what it is?

Thank you guys!

  1. Most likely you have a yeast infection which can cause a lot of itching. My advice would be to go and see the doctor who can prescribe you either a pill or a cream. If you don't want to see the doctor you should go and buy a cream called Canesten at the pharmacy. Use this for about 3-5 days and see if you get any better.

  2. go see a gynecologist they can recommend you a prescription for the itching. also warm water only makes it worse. I hope everything goes well for you that must be very miserable,

    best wishes :]

  3. see a doctor theres no other answer except get some vag cream or something

  4. Without more detailed information my first guess is a Yeast Infection.

Go to the store and buy an over the counter yeast infection medication. Typically they are inserted into the v****a before bed and they come with a topical cream that is used on the outter rims of the v****a to help with the itching.

You can also try Plain Yogurt. Sounds gross, but works. Dip a tampon into PLAIN Yogurt and insert into your v****a and leave over night. Also place a small amount to the outter infected areas. The yeast in the yogurt help to rid of the infection.

Once you complete the Yeast Infection Treatment (typically three days to a week) if you are not seeing any change you should go see a doctor and he can diagnose you and test you for STD's and STI's if no Yeast Infection is present.

Drinking LOTS OF WATER will also help with a Yeast Infection.

With a yeast infection you want to keep the v****a dry as possible, wear cotton underwear and "air out" for an hour or so if you can. Wash with warm water only in the shower and only once or twice a day, try to avoid soaps as this can only add to the problem. Stay away from really tight pants that don't breathe.

  5. Hi! I get extreme vaginal itching before i have my period. it would be so bad i would have to sit in a hot bath just to make it stop.

I talked to my doctor and she said that it is due to increased blood flow and sensitivity during that time of the month.

You can try some vagisil (didn't work for me)

you can try mixing baking soda and water and rubbing it down there (worked for a while)

and you can buy A&D ointment gel and put it down there. (helped some)

I get it for about a week at a time once a month.

    I hope this helps.

WHatever you do- DO NOT SHAVE IT THINKING IT WILL HELP!!

You will think its helping and then it will turn around and put you through h**l it makes it alot worse.

    Good luck. :)

  6. You probably have a yeast infection, which is called, candida. If you do, DO NOT EAT ANYTHING SUGARY OR SUGAR AT ALL. Sugar will not only enlarge the parasite in the infected area, but it could also spread the infection to your legs as well.

The best thing to do is to see a doctor and DON'T scratch your v****a or put water on it anymore.

  7. U have a yeast infection. Ask a GUYnecologist

  8. If there is a funny smell, or weird discharge, and you NEVER had s*x then you have a yeast infection. They sell several products you can buy over the counter for that, just go to your local pharmacy.
