Having an anxiety attack thinking about eloping...HELP?

Okay so i am freaking out before i should even be freaking out [i have anxiety problems] my FH and i are planning a wedding for next July we already put down our deposit. BUT we just had unprotected spurr of the moment s*x and he didn't pull out [i didn't stop him] i just checked my ovulation calendar and this is my most fertile week [i had no idea] i don't have insurance!!! i have been dreaming about my wedding for f-o-r-e-v-e-r. Should we just elope....!!! i am freaking out sorry... :[

You might have a baby by the man you are marrying and going to spend the rest of your life with?  It's hardly a serious worry, really!  Wait and see, if you are pregnant you could just brazen it out with your baby at the wedding and a "we couldn't wait" explanation (true!), or you could get legally married at a register office asap, and have the big celebrations on schedule next year, or you could change plans completely and bring forward the full event (perhaps scaled down) to the earliest possible date.  Any of these options is just for you and your FH to work out and everyone else to go along with.  And if you aren't pregnant???  Best wishes whatever happens.

Your not the first bride to be that has anxiety issues. I myself have them. it's 100% normal to feel as you do. All of the stress of planning executing, paying for a wedding is VERY daunting. Believe me I KNOW how you feel. Personally, I would just ask your FH how he feels about eloping if you find out that your preggers.

will if you had s*x in the last 72 hours why not get the morning after pill? or just wait a couple of weeks and see if even miss your period. I'm sure you don't want to elope before you are sure that a baby is on the way.

you should alson keep in mind that even if you have s*x at the exact right time you only have about a 25% chance of becoming pregnant so don't get stressed or worried which can make you miss a period.

First, just calm down and wait to see if you are even pregnant.  What's the worst that can happen if you are pregnant? I'm sure you will be fine.  I don't know what options you have about the insurance deal.  Yeah, it would be expensive and I think just to deliver the baby is about $600.  But, is that the only reason you would want to elope, is the insurance?  He has insurance I guess.  So, yeah if that's what you want to do to save some money and since you are planning on getting married anyway.  So, if you are pregnant go get married at a courthouse or something and then in july do it again the way you've always dreamed.  It's gonna be okay!!

If you calm down, breathe for a minute, and then rationalize through every problem, you'll feel much more in control.

So, first of all... you're getting ahead of yourself and worrying about something that hasn't even caused a problem. So you had unprotected s*x... that doesn't mean you're pregnant. I realize there's a decent chance, but since you don't know that yet, why let it worry you sick? Just wait until the day that you're supposed to start your period, and if it doesn't come on that day take an at home pregnancy test, and THEN work on your problem based on that.

It's probably going to come up negative, in which case you should learn from your mistake by never letting that happen again. The more opportunities you give for pregnancy, the better the chances are-- so ALWAYS use a condom.
