  1. right on paper in fancy writing then tea stain it and burn the edges then stik it in a bottle so its like a message in a bottle =] have fun

  2. How about a blue cardboard invitation with layers of blue, clear & green cellophane over the top to look ocean-y (twisted green cellophane looks like sea weed) and maybe a few tiny shells stuck on?

  3. You could make a beautiful card with the view of the sea from a beach and have a coconut tree at the lift side. write your message at the top on the clear blue shy, and pears holes on some shells and hang them with the help of a thread at the edge of the card. You can make colored photocopies of the card and invite as many people as you want.

  4. Card Stock of pretty blues, greens and purples.  Buy some shells and sand from the local arts and craft store or dollar store...create your own cards, don't forget some pastel glitter.

  5. you can get tons of webites where you make invitations virtually but u could also select pictres of the net and make one on paint.

  7. Cut the pail out of colored construction paper, and write the message on it .... put some fish or ocean confetti into the envelopes .......

......  Don't forget to make blue jello in little clear plastic cups for the party!  When it's slightly thickened, stick a gummy shark into each one......

  8. Fun Invitations for an Under the Sea Party include:

message in a bottle with, scroll, sand, shells

in shape of sand dollar or starfish

    OCEAN INVITATIONS

Cut a few fish or shell shapes out of sponges. Dip them into water-based tempera paints and press them onto cards or paper. When the paint has dried, use a blue glitter marker to write the party information on the cards. Then send them to the guests!

INVITATIONS i wanted my invitations to be memorable. i realized i couldnt handmake them, since i was inviting 40 people. so, i went to the dollar store, and bought white, chinese food boxes, and packs of seashells. i filled each food box with seashells, and i slipped in the party invitation-white invitations, printed out with beach colored lettering-and i put a sticker on the top of each food box of some sort of beach object. i then passed them out to everyone the next day. i also made a special list of close friends, who would stay later, those people got invitations on blow-up beach balls, with the invitation wriiten on them

    Hope these ideas helped

  9. Bags of shells are really cheap from the craft store. Write the invitation to the party on the inside of the shell and hand them out or mail them in padded envelopes.
