Having brown discharge and 6 weeks preg.. HELP?

Question

hi, last night i started i started to discharge brown.. not heavy just when i wiped slightly.. (i really had to get in there to see it?) to be sure..

im 6 and a half weeks and had a missed miscarriage n d&c previous to this so im a little worried?

is brown discharge normal? or is it a sign of miscarriage?

did this happen to anyone else?

i had a miscarriage also and spotted for about 10 days until it got heavier. everyone told me everything was fine, because i wasn't in pain and it was just spotting. hopefully that's all yours is but just to be safe i'd call a dr. good luck.

Well, this happened to me when I had my miscarriage at 7 weeks, but it occured consistently...then ofcourse turned to red blood.

With my pregnancy now, I wiped brown once and that was it and my baby is fine...but that happened at 15 weeks.

This has happened to me before. (Miscarriage that started with brown discharge.)

I'd go to the hospital and they can do a physical exam and ultrasound to be sure.

But remember... women can spot through their first trimester.

These answers are all really scary, but could happen...I just wanted to put mine in as a positive side?

This happened to me, I went to the doctor, and it was fine. She said that it was Old blood that my body was just getting rid of.

I have a beautiful 2 year old girl now....so while it MAY be a bad sign, it could be ok....just go to your doctor and get an ultrasound, they can tell you for sure.

I don't want to sound discouraging but it did happen to me, it was my first sign I lost another pregnancy. But don't jump to conclusions. Lay down drink some water and relax. Get you feet up and watch a movie or something to get your mind off of it. (I know how can you get your mind off of it) Wait until you know for sure because there may not be anything to worry about. I hope that your baby is just fine and I hope the same for you. Good luck and inform us when you find out!
