I have no idea what they like and I would like something easy to do and something the everyone including the kids should like. I was thinking maybe something I could maybe put in the crock pot in the morning and it would be ready to serve at dinner time. Any ideas?

  1. my dad makes really good chicken wings. u need small chicken wings (like the ones in restaurants), you can buy them at farm fresh or walmart.. and put them in a deep fat fryer for 30 minutes to an hour? (i think.. just do it until theyre done) and then take them out and put bulls eye bbq sauce in a bowl and slather them in it, then put them on a baking sheet for an hour. theyre really good and i think everyone will love them (we sure do!)

  2. If you really want to bring the kids in on it. grab a couple of plain cheese pizzas. then some vegetables to toss on and maybe a meat option. let them make it with you, its quick in the oven and on the table, they have fun and you can have your dinner party with the adults. They will come out of it liking to go over to your house for mom and dads night out!

  3. You could have a cookout and have hamburgers, hotdogs, etc.

  4. well for kids finger food is the way to go! like chicken! everyone loves chicken! (almost) but if thats not your deal,ok. but i recomend food with lots of colors and didfferent texture! this will be more pleasing to the kids! things they can pick up!

  5. i think that you should serve

    pizza pockets, easy, microwavable

chicken fingers, what kids dont like these

    french fries,

    apple slices, healthy

baked snacks such as cheese nips/chex/goldfish

    maybe even mac & cheese

kids aren't too hard to please with what they, i would just order a pizza and call it a day.lol.

  6. Chicken fingers, mac n cheese, hot dogs - keep it simple.  I'd be careful for the pasta though - unless you trust these kids to not spill all over your house and wipe their hands on everything.  I'm from a large family and red sauce is never allowed at any of the parties because there are too many kids (at the last party, there were 24 under the age of 13).

  7. You could put spaghetti sauce in the crock pot and boil some pasta up when you get home. Add salad and maybe some warm bread. If you are unsure about whether the kids esp. eat meat, do the sauce without.

  8. I would do pizza. Everyone likes pizza. You could order it or make a few homemade ones.

  9. I would ask the parents what foods the kids esp like. Once I made hot dogs along with seafood thinking the kids would prefer hot dogs. The kids loved the shrimp and scallops. I had hot dogs warmed up the rest of the week?

In the crock pot . . . I'd probably go with spaghetti sauce and make the noodles right before time to eat or a roast and veggies.

If you have a grill, most everyone likes grilled burgers too. Just heat up some baked beans and have chips. Very easy.
