this concert will be tomorrow.

we've earned about $1,600 selling tickets and wristbands.

during concert we're showing a video about teenage affluenza, nickelback's 'if everyone cared' music vid, www.poverty.com, some youtubes, and we're having a bake sale to raise more money.

we want to not only entertain the audience but also to educate and fundraise.

any other ideas?

thanks so much!

  1. Congratulations.  You could have involved your parents and Church members.  You can do it next time.  You could also ask local businesses to support you.  Wish you success.

  2. Its pretty last minute but how about a guest speaker?  Is your audience mainly teenagers.  You could have an ex drug addict talk about what it was like living on the streets and how he over came it.  Or a family that had to live out of their car and how they over came it!

Great job!  If only more people took a stand and made people aware of the world around us.

  3. sell 50/50 tickets sell tickets for say a 1.00 then draw the winner gets half the pot and you get the other half.

    silent auction

have a dontation jar/bucket you could have one at the gate and/or pass one around during the concert
