So I'm 20 years old and have the most beautiful 2 year old girl. What else could a mother want! However, I'm having such a hard time getting my bills paid on time and it seems to be getting worse and worse. At the end of all my bills being paid I maybe have about 50 dollars left to spend on food etc. I am very careful with my money, I don't buy anything unnecessary...I get all store brand food & use food stamps..and go shopping at thrift stores..It's just so hard. I have no family to lean on if anything were to ever happen. If something happens and I can't afford my apartment I will be out in the street. I live in a crime-ridden area so It's not like I have a very expensive apartment at all. I'm also going to college full time so I can't get a 2nd job.

I need advice, please...Don't give me c**p about being a young mother either please I get it all the time.

  1. hello - send me an email, i may be able to help you.

  2. It sounds like you are doing just fine... just pray (hope) that nothing bad happens... if only it were that easy, right?

Well... are you in low-income or income-based housing?  If not, check into it... they are often pretty cheap.  It's great that you are going to college... there is alway the option of stopping school for now and getting another job, but I personally don't recommend that.

It sounds as if you're doing fine.. yes it's hard to stretch money... I have to do the same.. but if for whatever reason you do end up on the streets, there are organizations and shelters and churches willing to help you get back on your feet.
