I was reading that wrong.  I thought you were grossed out by watching your you-know-what get flushed.

I've never flushed anything down the toilet that was valuable.  Though I have dropped my cellphone in the tank with a couple of......yeeeaaah....  That was bad.  I got it out, but I think I got a new one right after that.

I know a girl whose REAL pearl necklace went down the toilet as it was flushing.

yes, I was munching on a cookie while doing #2 and somehow dropped it in there during the wipe.  totally bummed out that day.

YES!!!  Just the other week this happened to me.  A bottle of perfume fell off the shelf above the toilet right when it was flushing .  I thought for sure my toilet was going to have major problems.  But it seems to have flushed with no problems.

I tell ya... it was like a scene from a movie..... hilarious!!
