Having fun in birmingham?

Wich is the best place to hit on saturday night for a 20 year old? (i don't really like broad street).. cheers

Depends what kind of night you want really, if you want to have a big night out and go to a club, you could try the Arcadian for a change away from Broad Street, its good fun in there and all close together so not too much walking about but if you want a quieter night of just drinking in bars then try the Mailbox which gets busy at the weekend but no club there, nearest one is on Gas Street which has the Boho Rooms which has a strip club and burlesque dancing place - could be fun! (Gas Street is just off Broad Street).

I've lived in Birmingham my whole life and personally, I think Broad Street's the way to go for the biggest selection of clubs/pubs etc... but Solihull town centre has restaurants/pubs + a club if I remember rightly- good enough to get you started. Then maybe after you get drunk there Broad Street won't seem that bad? Or you could be a bit more cultured and go to the Hippodrome/Rep??
