  1. nada, nix, snowball's chance in h**l

  2. In my opinion, it is how you define hope.  Do they stand a reasonable chance of making the playoffs?  My opinion is that they do not.

However, I do believe there is hope for a new coaching staff to learn the CFL game, solidify a team identity, develop an overall team style, and establish some confidence and a platform to build on next year.

If they can establish some team discipline, they can be competitive on a week by week basis.  They simply do not have the depth in talent to overcome the mistakes they have been making.  Hamilton needs to focus on week to week improvement, sort their QB situation, and establish identitfy, play style, and confidence.

  3. Hope for this season slim...

Jason Maas struggled throughout the first couple of games, but jmmy Chang wasnt really strong in relief as well, so Maas returned. Anyway, I think if Maas has a REALLY good season from this point on, and the denfense holds up, they can have a crack at the play-offs. Remember they only lost to the Lions by 2 pts yesterday. It proved to me yesterday that the Tabbies are improving, and if they can get some huge momental wins against Toronto or Montreal or Wennipeg, they should bounce right back. I would say a 25 percent chance of play-off. One more loss brings it down to 0.

  4. No chance for them this year.

  5. They are the worst team in organized football.

  6. In a word, no.  From what I've seen so far, they will not make the playoffs.  When struggling teams like Montreal and Calgary can beat them, (the latter without much difficulty) I just don't think they're able to win enough games to finish third in the East.  I forsee another year in the CFL cellar for the Tabbies in '07.
