Ok.

I havent a clue what i have done but and I'm not sure when it started.

but at first i had lower back pain in the middle and right side.

It was ok at first i thought i might of strained it or something.

but it has turn to a dull achey kind of feeling and its mainly in my bum now and on my thigh area and back.

any tips on what it is or what i have done and will it get better ?

me mum says that its nothing and backs take a while to heal ?

  1. your mum is correct. They do take a while to heal.

Sounds like you strained your sciatic muscle and nerve--a very common thing to do. Here's something that will speed your healing a lot:

Lay on your back on your bed, legs straight out in front.

Cross your right leg over your left leg and put your right ankle on your left thigh (your legs will look like the number 4). Slowly bring your left leg up as far as you can--bend your knee and draw your leg up with your other leg crossed over it. You won't have to draw up your leg very far before you will feel the stretch in your back and thigh and down your sciatic area. Hold the stretch for 15 second, relax, then do it again. Then reverse your legs and do it on the other side.

there are other stretches too--and they will quickly get rid of your pain. Do them every day--do not bounce or jerk the muscles when you do; these should be done very smoothly.

You'll feel MUCH better soon--I promise!
