Having many different dreams about a person I've never seen before?

I've been having them for a while now. I can't make out the details of the face except for the eyes, but I know his personality very well by now. As for his name, it's blurred like his face. I know it in the dream, but it's never said aloud. I'm normally in the dreams too and I can tell that I'm really emotionally close to him. The topics of my dreams differ a lot, but they always have the same sort of feel to them.

The dreams started over a year ago, but they went away for a little while and now they're back.

What do you make of this?

  1.    It could be one of your ancestors trying to talk to you (please don't say i'm crazy). Or more normal it could be something that is happening right now in your life that is causing you to have these dreams. I keep having dreams of going back to school and forgetting to do the summer assignment (which I haven't finished yet). This is probably because I feel guilty for not finishing it. Tell me, is there something in your life right now that can relate to your dreams?

  2. Maybe something big is going to happen in your life that will either make you meet a future close friend, or that incident will make you closer to a friend that you aren't that close with right now.

.. If that made any sense

  3. You mentioned that you had noticed the eyes. Many say the eyes are a window to the soul. And you also said that his personality is clear so it could mean that you are unconsciously searching for a soul mate. You did not know the name, but you know what personality you are searching for. I have read about people in the same situation you are in, after many recurring dreams about the character, he/she meets this person in waking life. Try not to force this destiny, but be open minded to meeting new people. If you like the character in your dream and have a will to meet him, you may just find yourself meeting with this person in real life and not even notice him as the one in your dream.

  4. i have no clue, wat sort of feel do the dreams have to them? because that could change a lot of things. for exaple if you seem to be emotionaly cloe as a friend  and hes happy it coluld mean something good if its emotionaly close a a friend but you both seem to be going through something difficult thats a whole nother perspective. ive read that dreams are you brain pulling together stories based on your life when your concious. so if your stressed out you might have a dream about you being trapped somewhere or under pressure and if ou see your grandma in a dream and you feel weird about it your grandma might have passed away. its hard to explain but dreams could mean so many things. maybe see a professional? one thing, dont ever really rely or depend on dreams and convince yourself that they mean something good or bad because dreams are just  dreams
