Having my period during a swim party!!!!!!!!!?

i am having a swim party on August 23. The last time I had my period was July 25. I haven't had it yet for August. Do you think I will have it during my swim party. I can't wear tampons yet because I am too young. What should I do if I start my period?? And do you think I will??

The only way to really know for sure is check how many days it took from one period to the next if on july 25 was your first period then you might get it on your pool party.

If you do you could just wear a red bathing suit or something it should be to bad it slows down to almost a stop when your swiming because of the pressure so dont worry to much about it

I was just wondering, why are you too young to use a tampon? My little sister is only 13 and she is already using them. Its very easy and there is no age where you are too young. The only wrong age is if you dont feel ready. Maybe talk to your mum about it and she can give you a few solutions. If you're lucky, you wont even be on your period by then. Hope this helps!

If you're old enough to get your period, you're old enough to use a tampon. They are much more comfortable than you think, and contrary to rumors, it will not make you "lose your virginity."

I suggest starting now with tampons so they are comfortable to wear by the time you have your swimming party. Otherwise, have fun not participating in the swimming.

Well, hopefully you don't have your period then.

But if you do pack some pads.

You can still get in the water (without the pad) - just in case you didn't know, your period stops while you're in the water. Also as soon as you're done put your pad on- As SOON as you're done. Tell an adult so they'll know. And HAVE FUN!!!!!!

First of all, do not wear a pad and go in the water.  That is extremely unsanitary.  How old are you, and why do you feel you are too young for tampons??  If you have your period, you should be old enough for tampons-- even if you are an early bloomer, your body should be ready.

Your period may come that day, but no one can predict for sure.

If you do get it, wear a tampon. There's no age limit. Ask your mom maturely if you can please wear a tampon, even if it's just to go swimming.

DON'T GO IN if you can't get a tampon.

If a tampon isn't an option, avoid going in the water. Maybe put your feet in, wear shorts and your bikini top.

yeah you probably will have your period.

And a girl is never too young for a tampon. Just get the super skinny ones with an applicator. I was like 13 when i started using tampons and they saved my life and career (since I'm a dancer and you can't wear undies with tights and a leotard). If you are an active girl, you need tampons. You can't swim, run, play sports, dance, do whatever, wearing a pad. Just ask you mom if you can get the junior tampons.

If you get your period, dress up in a swimsuit, add thin napkins with wings. Use 2 to double the length. Then wear a cover up sari and just lounge at the side of the pool.

i don't know why but i find that when i'm in the water and when my friends are in the water our periods stop

i've tHERS these mini pads that go into the vag but arn't tampons

you have to wear a tampon unless everyone wants to swim in bloody water! your never to young to wear a tampon. if your regular...augest 23rd is the day you should get it.....so wear a tampon! you have to!

You might have it, so you will have to skip the party, or start using tampons. I don't see how you are too young, they just take time to get used to. If you start using them, you can swim whenever you want!

Your never really "too young" to where a tampon. I think you should wear a tampon if you get it. Theyre not that hard to use and very comfortable too. If you only started getting your periods recently like within the past 6 months then your probably still irregular. So yes you probably will get it during the pool party. This has happened to me before, thats when I started wearing tampons. Just go to the store buy a box of maybe 4 or 6. Wearing a pad while simming isnt a good idea because it doesnt catch all the blood when your swimming.
