I just got a new LG M3201C 32" Commercial LCD Monitor HD-Ready. It brings a D-sub signal cable, power cable, audio cable (PC), RCA-PC audio cable. What do I need to connect it to a normal Dish box? http://www.nohold.net/noHoldCust61/Prod_1/Articles42395/625_coax.pdf And do I really have to connect it to a PC?? Please help, I appreciate every single answer

  1. if you dont know how to connect it, try calling dish and i dont think you have to connect it to a pc because i didnt

  2. It doesn't look like your Dish box is HD, so the picture you will be getting is going to be blurry.  But it also looks like the only cable you need to connect to the TV is a coax cable, or the same type of cable that connects the dish to the wall.  You  don't seem to have any connections on your dishbox other than coax, composite, and s-video.  None of those give an HD signal, so unless your TV upconverts standard signal to high def signals, you will have a blurry pic.

I have a Dish ViP622, which is HD and DVR in one.  I just connect my dish with a HDMI cable and the picture is great.  You should probably upgrade your dish box.

  3. You can use the RCA cable (yellow, white, red) and the S-Video cable both of them should come with your receiver box. You can also see page 20(I don't know if it's the same on your) on your Dish User's Guide it's called RCA and S-Video Connections
