Having problems deleting key words from searches?

From yahoo when i go to type in a search request i might type in the letter 'a' then every word starting with the letter 'a' would appear. i want to delete all of it. i went to tools - internet options-delte cookies but still did not dlete the search words

Ok here's what you do. You click the search box, and press the down arrow. All the stuff that you searched should come down and you should be able to see it. Just press delete on everything that you want to delete.

You need to clear or disable Auto Complete. This saves all previous searches in your search bar. Here's how to fix the problem:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom
