Question:

Having problems..........?

I started the pill but I constantly had thrush, so decided to opt for other methods. Even though I'd stopped, the thrush stayed and the doctor gave me stuff to get rid of it. The problem is it came back afterwards and I still have it constantly. I've been tested and I don't have any STI's, and I know it's thrush so why wont it go away? I rarely wear thongs and stuff - I usually stick to cotton underwear trying to prevent it but it's always there and wont go. Can anyone help?

  1. Hi, whenever I use any soap apart from Dove, I get thrush, you are very sensitive down there, like me, so perfumed soaps or anything else you may use, can cause you to have thrush. If its not gone away after treatments, then its GOT to be something your using regularly, or even tight jeans. Just think aboiut what your doing/wearing/using and make some changes.  I know how horrible this is, I made the changes and now I dont suffer. x

  2. A friend has had thrush on and off since she was 12 and started her period but as she matured it got more frequent as you would imagine.

She's been given creams like canesten combi for years on and off and all they tell her its been contracted in the womb when her mother was carrying her she had thrush they say  so this is why she has it also .

Sounds like c**p to me but there you have it .

Hope this helps and if it doesn't i apologise and wish you well .

  3. Have you tried having a bath with about 10 drops of undiluted tea tree oil? It's anti bacterial and anti fungal. Have you tried going pantless? It's good to let the fresh air at it. Just don't get out of any cars if you're not a celeb.  Have you tried using a fragrance free moisturiser in that area too? The skin is sensitive there.

edit: I mean undiluted in the bottle, but diluted in the bath.

  5. Well , I have been eating 2 alpro soya every night before going to bed and my thrush that made me CRY has completely gone from the inside and I'm treating the outside with canesten even though it isn't itchy.
