Question:

Having problems straightening my hair....?

I know it can be straightened so it;s not that, the stylist does it just fine.

But when i attempt it just gets frizzy, instead of straight. I've tried several different types of flat iron srays to use with my starightener. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Is your hair supposed to be damp or dry, am I using to much , heat? But when I turn the heat down it;s still the same result. I dunno what I'm doing wrong if someone would help I really appreciate it.

thanks in advance

  1. it needs to be dry, try a heat protection, and try buying some anti frizz cream and applying it after wards

  2. i have no clue my hair dresser does it perfectly but i never can do either maybe try to put some frizz control after you r done

  3. 1. start off with a hydrating shampoo and conditioner

    2. put some serum in your damp hair, Paul Mitchell Skinny serum is awesome

    3. Blow dry or air dry hair completely!!!

    4. straighten in sections, start with the nape of neck and work your way up

    5. spray a light hold hair spray about 10inches away from hair, you should be good to go

    ...hope this helps some...

  4. Make sure your hair is dry, take small sections to straighten your hair go over it twice to ensure the best results. Pick up a bottle of graham webb heat protection soft spray. Put this in your hair before you flat iron.

Also if your having trouble with frizz try moroccan miracle oil, put that in your hair when your hair is damp let it air dry a little or blow dry. This will help take out frizz and make it easier to get the best results you want

    One last thing...

Dont flat iron your hair in your bathroom, usually there is humidity in your bathroom after you've showered and blowdried your hair.. So try a different location for flat ironing your hair
