  1. sounds like your in need of pipe replacement. i'd switch them to a new piping system


  2. If you live in an older home, it may have galvanized water pipes. If so, the only thing you can do about the problem is to re plumb the entire house with a new system.

  3. That depends on the source of the rust. If you are lucky, the source will be before the water enters you home and you can get a whole house filtration system.

    If it's coming from the pipes in your house you basically have 2 options. One: Replace the water pipes in your home. Two: get filtration system for every sink or water outlet in your home that you don't want rusty water from.

    Contact a plumber and hope for the best.
