  1. My advice is to go out there and have fun. You are playing this game because you love it, you've been playing for just about your whole life, go out there and prove to the coaches that you love to play the game. If you look like you are having fun you most likely will be having fun. If you're having fun you'll do well.

Also, if you make a mistake, which you will, feed off of it. As soon as you mishandle the puck in the corner or miss the net on a shot, take three HARD strides to try and make up for what you did wrong. After working hard right away to try and make up for it, put it behind you. There is nothing you can do, just get back to relaxing and having fun.

Love the game, it's a great one.

  2. The best advice I can give you is to relax. Most players are the other way around , they suck at drills and do great at games/ scrimmages. Just look at the games/ scrimmages as just complicated drills. Just have fun and relax is the main thing. Just got out and try. The coaches can see things that you don't. If they see the effort and skills a mess up here and there will not matter. Good luck.

  3. Me and you both! Just relax, tell yourself nothing will change if you will or won't make the team, and you'll make it :) trust me

  4. Don't be afraid to fail or mess up.  Usually when you worry about this, you start to lose focus on whats important and you begin to mess up.  Just relax and try to enjoy it.  You make more mistakes when you're worrying the most about making them.  I'm assuming you play hockey because you enjoy it and it's fun for you, so just do your best and have fun.  Hockey's a game, and games are supposed to be fun.

  5. The best thing you can do is to just play like you do in practice.  Just don't think about the fact that its do good or get cut just focus on doing your best

  6. well practice always makes perfect, so you can never get enough warming up.

two relax, play some jams before you go

    3.  be confident with your skills, if they were good enough for you to get this far in hockey then they should be good to go when ya tryout
