  1. you have to reset it doing this won't delete any songs it will just refresh it.

heres a site on how to do it depending on what ipod you have

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1320

  2. ipods suck u should get a zune or a mp3 player

  3. go to a radio shack

  4. my used to do that...ummmm try pressing and holding the center and menu button down i think to restart it. if that doesnt work...charge it completely and let it cool off to room temperature

  5. could be the battery  or you got an ipod that is no good

  6. Try..

toggling your hold button (turn it to hold and back to normal)

then hold down the center button and menu button on your ipod

then the apple screen will come up.

then hold down the menu or play button.

    if this doesnt help

    try going to itunes.com

  7. try resesting your ipod by holding the center and menu button till it turns off if this does not work try pluging it into a computer and reseting to factory settings, either of these generally works

  8. Restore it, might work go to apple store if the problem keeps on happening

  9. u shud refresh it...

u switch the hold on then off and press both the centre button and the menu button.

if u hav any more problems, go and see the people u got it from.

  10. restart it by pressing play and the middle button at the same time for a few seconds :)

    hope i helped...byee

  12. corrupt data. take all your files and copy them (for safety) then delete the originals and reload them into your I-pod, if that does not work you've got water damage (even if you don't, that is what they will say when you claim warranty insurance) so you'll need to buy a new one. but I have experienced this so my first solution should work.

  13. you'll have to reset it.

hold the play+the middle button down until your ipod turns on and off and off.

  14. I think that happened to my sisters Ipod.

When it freezes, just hold down the menu botton for a few minutes 'till the screen goes black and a little white apple pops up.

For the skipping I'm not sure, but it may be the headphones.   Try pushing them in more, but if that doesnt work, then maybe get new head-phones.   If the new hea-phones dont work, then bring the ipod to Best Buy, Circut City, Radio Shack, etc.   Well, hope it helps

  15. two answers for this question. try plugging your ipod into your computor and restoring the ipod to factory settings. or if that dosnt work go to the nearest apple store and have them take a look at it. if there is not an apple store in your town send it in to the apple repair center found on apple.com/support/ipod

  16. Have you tried resetting it? I would try that first. Just move the hold button to lock and then unlock it and hold the center button and menu button down. You might have to wait a couple of seconds before it resets itself. And this wont remove any of your songs.

    Hope this helps!

  17. i would definitely reset your ipod. if its the nano then you hold the center button and the play/or menu button continuosly.

  18. it's probably damaged firmware. you should just get a new i pod.

  19. hold down on menu & select at same time for ten secs...till it shuts off, then it will be ok.  been there many times.

  20. you know that menu when you plug your ipod in that automatically appears? (that part under "devices") go to the summary tab, and then click "restore" which is in the version part of the page. restoring your ipod will erase the entire library from your ipod. then you just upload it back on. i did that when my ipod wasn't working, and that worked for me.
